Financial Center Manager Tier III

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position, located in Sky's Northway Mall location, supports the company’s mission and sales goals by developing new clients and retaining and expanding existing business, while managing the financial center’s revenue and expenses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Increase financial center loan production and outstandings.
Generate investment sales per established goals.
Develop and manage small business client relationships with the backup of the business banker assigned to the market area.
Increase financial center deposit size. Produce quality referrals to all business units.
Manage and provide high quality coaching to aid in financial center personnel’s performance and development.
Work with the area operations manager on any disciplinary actions needed for the team leader.
Provide leadership as outlined in the Sky ten-step leader model.
Proactively seek new clients.
Participate in community and civic organizations.
Maintain established security procedures.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with Sky “Code of Ethics.”
Consistently meet performance standards as defined through Sky’s sales and service process.
Make proactive outbound calls to meet the expectations of the established standards. Establish goals and manage the financial performance of the financial center in accordance with the budget.
Build and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external clients.
Maintain effective relationships with manager, team leader and fellow employees while maintaining a spirit of teamwork.
Provide leadership in developing the financial center team including on-site representatives from other functional areas.
Exercise good decision making within appropriate guidelines conferring with the district sales manager on unusual matters and decisions beyond own authority.
Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES PREFERRED:

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
Three to five years of management experience is preferred. Must have the ability to manage and lead a sales and supervisory staff.
Three to five years of financial experience with knowledge of loan and deposit products is preferred.
Must have knowledge of more sophisticated lending and investment products.
Must have these skills and abilities: strong sales ability, basic math skills, good interpersonal/people skills, good organizational skills, thorough knowledge of financial center products and services, basic working knowledge of financial statements, excellent listening and speaking skills, excellent presentation skills, excellent writing skills, legible handwriting and computer proficiency.
As designated, will become licensed for securities and insurance sales (i.e., Series 6 and/or Series 7).
