Financial Analyst - Decision Support

Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is the teaching hospital for Thomas Jefferson University, and consistently recognized for the quality and range of its services, not just locally, but nationally.

There is a regular FT position (80 hours biweekly) available in a Hospital department for a Financial Analyst to assist in the completion of financial and statistical analysis projects. The Financial Analyst must also provide support for the operations of the Decision Support System (DSS).

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Performing audit functions under supervision of senior staff.
Correcting information and entering new information to insure system reflects the operations of the Hospital.
Gathering and inputting RVUs for new products and updating older RVUs as required.
Providing support to the Hospital Capital Budget process by generating working reports.
Completing weekly updates to schedules to insure spending is within guidelines.
Preparing reports as requested.
Responding to departmental requests for information.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Account or Business Administration is required.
Familiarity with MS Office products and some accounting systems, as well as one (1)- three (3) years previous experience is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to interact with various hospital department staff members, as well as Jeff-IT and external contacts.
