Midwest Bank and Trust Company has an opening for a File Clerk (Part-Time) at the Elmwood Park Investment Center. All qualified employees wishing to be considered for this position should submit an Expression of Interest (form attached) to Human Resources.

$500 REFERRAL BONUS: We are also accepting referrals for this position in the event we are unable to fill it through internal interest. Bonuses are paid upon the employee’s satisfactory completion of 1 year of employment.

Job Description:
Assist with the administration of accounts, basic Word processing, accurate filing, and performing as directed by the appropriate administrative supervisor. Emphasis is placed on the clerical responsibilities of position which will support the Administration group

Duties:
May answer telephone calls and direct customers to appropriate areas. Files, photocopies, researches, or obtains information needed by office manager, and MFIS Officers. Will perform any task requested by a supervisor, as it relates to M.F.I.S. or its daily operational function.
Handles additional projects as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications:
Must be able to effectively perform secretarial, clerical, and administrative activity
Demonstrated ability to file a large volume of paperwork daily, high degree of accuracy is mandatory
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis and on time
Essential physical requirements include ability to carry files up to five pounds, flexibility to bend and reach overhead, and the mobility to move to various locations within the bank
Knowledgeable in basic word processing skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees and customers.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines as set by supervisor
Professional image adhered to due to regular customer exposure
High school graduate or equivalent.
