Fair Lending Compliance Officer

Responsible for regularly conducting the required research and analytics for timely distribution to management for Fair & Responsible Lending related developments. Coordinate data, as well as conduct accurate, detailed analyses of data for reports. Critical to position is the ability to think strategically with regards to the development of analytics, as well as reporting. Under close supervision, draft operational and regulatory updates, revise policies and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance and develop new reporting. Serve as a central resource and provide assistance to operational units regarding Fair Lending compliance. On occasion, participate on project and implementation teams for processes and credit products that are covered under Fair Lending Regulations. Work both collaboratively and independently to perform analyses and meet timelines.

job Requirements


Requires a Bachelor’s degree. Background in auditing or accounting is also required. Candidate will have 2-4 years experience in Internal Audit, HMDA data collection, or auditing. Strong oral and written skills are necessary. Experience in Excel is required. Additional knowledge of Access is preferred. HSBC Compensation
