Escrow Supervisor

Title Resource Group (TRG), is a full-service title, settlement, and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations, and financial institutions. Texas American Title Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of TRG, is currently seeking several Escrow Supervisors for the Southwest Houston and Fort Bend Areas. This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:



This position requires excellent customer service skills. Positive, clear communication skills will be necessary to effectively manage others. Regular attendance, punctuality, strong organization skills and the ability to adapt quickly is required. Job responsibilities are:

Perform accurate buyer and seller closings Maintain current customer base Develop new customer base Supervise and develop Escrow Officers, Escrow Assistants and Receptionists Conduct interviews, reviews, performance appraisals and disciplinary actions as needed Complete all required reports in a timely manner Address all pre-closing and post-closing issues as needed Keep accurate accounting reports and clear file ledgers Schedule additional training as needed for employees Take responsibility for appearance of office, closing rooms and waiting areas Attend Escrow Manager meetings and schedule regular office meetings to implement any changes or distribute new ideas
REQUIREMENTS




H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. Must be proficient in title insurance closings, title clearing, HUD1 preparation, closing, and funding, recording, and prepost settlement processes. A title insurance license or the ability to obtain a title insurance license is required. Ability to develop, coach and mentor a staff of direct reports. Must be a team player with strong customer relation skills and must be willing to assist with the sales efforts.
