Full Job Title: Engineer/S, Systems Engineering Skills Management Title Systems EngineeringJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: Technical lead for the systems engineering team on a complex aerospace production item. The technical lead will be responsible for leading and evaluating trade studies/designs that ensure complete and correct system specification, verification and validation. The lead will be responsible for ensuring requirements are properly allocated and verified, lead teams of people through problem resolution, and evaluate operational readiness on a complex proprietary program. On the program, the chief systems engineer will be responsible for ensuring the details have been completed and that the system is ready for operational use. Competencies Applicants should be knowledgeable about developing and integrating complex mechanical/electrical/software systems and should have a strong background in spacecraft development. Applicants should also have a strong background in systems engineering. Applicants should be able to work at the lowest and highest level of detail to close technical issues.
