The Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting the Practice Manager in the overall growth and management of the Practice in the local office and Region. The Engagement Manager is responsible for all aspects of client project management, including project planning, project strategy, and project fulfillment. The Engagement Manager will also assist in business development, business planning, opportunity identification, qualification, developing solutions, and closing engagements. Manage and develop successful consultants and consultant teams.
We are looking for strong candidates specifically with Financial Services or Insurance Industry expertise to also possess significant experience in Strategic Finance, Business Performance Management, Business Intelligence and Information Technology Management. Expertise in the following BI tools is highly desired: Cognos, Compshare, Hyperion HFM, Business Objects as well as technology architechture, data modeling and implementation or optimization of various ERP systems is a major plus. We need these types of individuals across out entire East region, as well as in NY, to manage consulting engagements within our dynamic and growing East Region.Qualifications:
ā?¢ Big 4 or consulting industry staff/project management experience requiredā?¢ Demonstrated business development aptitude and desire with strong presentation skillsā?¢ Demonstrated history of project management experience, including project planning and strategy developmentā?¢ Consulting experience with a recognized professional services organizationā?¢ Proven leadership abilityā?¢ Skilled in team building and team developmentā?¢ PC literate, including experience in using software for producing presentations, spreadsheets, and project planning (skilled in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Project and Visio)ā?¢ College degree required; MBA and/or professional certification preferredā?¢ Personable with outstanding written and verbal communication skillsā?¢ Ability to analyze financial opportunities and mitigate riskā?¢ Significant BI, Strategic Finance, data architecture experience, data modeling and ERP implementation and optimization, Financial Services or Insurance experience a plus.Parson Consulting offers an attractive base salary, commissions and excellent benefits with the opportunity for a six figure income
