Electronic Trading Product Manager

Position Description
The overall goal of the product development group is to provide thorough ownership of all technology products that are critical to increasing revenue in the electronic trading space. We are looking for an individual to join our dynamic product management team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of industry related experience and a background in technology.


Skills Required
The individual needs to be comfortable in several different roles. The position requires the skill set of a "jack of all trades," someone who understands technology at a detailed level and works well with the development team, is comfortable in a marketing and sales role, can transition into a support role, is an excellent communicator, and who can negotiate with internal and external stakeholders. The individual will play a role that is both strategic as well as tactical. Developing a vision for a product and a roadmap to achieve the vision is the responsibility of the Product Management team. The individual will be fully engaged in these activities. On a more tactical note, the individual will also be responsible for developing detailed specifications for new features based on feedback from sales, account management, client feedback and market research. The individual will be responsible for developing test plans and fully testing the new features. Ensuring that the sales and account management groups are well versed in the new features is also an activity in which the individual will be responsible.
