GreenPoint Mortgage is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee the Eastern Region in our Correspondent Lending Division.
With the pending acquisition of GreenPoint Mortgage by CapitalOne set to close in late 2006, we are taking steps now to expand our team and develop, implement and manage strategies to aggressively grow the correspondent business channel in our new organization. We are looking for an experienced and established correspondent sale professional to manage our sales organization and drive volume. You will also develop long term, empathetic business relationships that meet or exceed company goals for volume and quality of loans.Essential Skills
As the ideal candidate, you will have, 3+ years correspondent mortgage sales experience and 2+ years correspondent management experience. You will also have an established network of mortgage banking contacts and an understanding of the Alt-A market and loan products. Your ability to use effective interpersonal and communication skills is key to building highly productive relationships. This position requires approximately 40% travel.
