EVP Commercial / Lending

EVP Commercial / Lending:
Position Objective: Act as sales manager and supervisor for their lending team by creating and motivating a regional sales/loan team to develop, maintain and retain business in an assigned Regional Banking Business Center. Understand the individual team relationship to the overall success of the Commercial Lending Division.
Job Requirements:
. Manage a team of C&I lenders in a specific business center and its outlying region
. Create a sales strategy and process for Team of Relationship Managers/Lenders
. Set sales and performance goals for team
. Complete performance evaluations of staff
. Meet individual performance goals
. Develop and maintain solid client/customer relationships and lead team to do the same
. Understand and assist team in understanding the Bank(tm)s loan /credit approval process
. Build a positive proactive team environment and ensure staff understands now each business unit as an integral part of the Division as a whole.
. Work closely with the Credit Department to ensure solid successful deals can be produced
. Other duties and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications:
. Bachelors Degree, preferred.
. 8-12 years of progressive commercial lending experience.
. Proven proficiency in business development and retention.
. Good understanding of loan process and credit analysis preferred.
. Proven success in goal oriented environment.
. Proven ability to motivate staff towards sales success.
. Superior communication skills, written and oral.
. Strong problem solving ability.
. Proven ability to show initiative, self-starter
. Ability to travel with in a local designated region
. Solid basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
