Divisional Contract Recruiter

The Divisional Contract Recruiter supports the hiring of Financial Advisor Trainees into the Global Wealth Management Group (GWMG). POSITION SUMMARY: The Divisional Contract Recruiter will participate in the sourcing of candidates, driving to a highly qualified, diverse candidate pool within their respective Division. The Divisional Contract Recruiter will drive a standardized selection process, playing a key role with respect to quality of candidate and optimizing the manager’s time in the recruiting process. The Divisional Contract Recruiter will liaise with Divisional and District Management to assess and meet trainee staffing needs. To accomplish this, he/she will be responsible for enhancing sources of candidates through the use of unique methods, including leveraging relationships with relevant professional organizations. The Divisional Contract Recruiter will also assist managers in implementing effective hiring strategies to achieve local and corporate diversity initiatives. The Recruiter will also work with National Hiring to ensure that regular metrics around recruiting sources, hire metrics and costs, etc. are tracked. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


Assess recruiting needs, develop sourcing strategy to target outstanding candidates, and in coordination with Divisional, District, and Branch Management, implement plan to increase number of highly qualified diverse candidates.

Manage divisional relationships with professional organizations in planning events targeted at candidates.

Manage divisional relationships with external recruiters, as appropriate, to vet potential candidates.

Take lead role in the standardization of the screening process for the Division by ensuring that candidates complete the required assessment test and reviewing test results, by pre-screening all candidates in a phone screen, by reviewing each candidates’ business plan for requirements, and communicating with managers regarding highly qualified candidates.

Assist managers with the implementation of the selection process within the branch and district. Track candidate performance during interview and presentation day phases of selection process, and assist managers in background check, offer, and on-boarding process.

Perform other tasks and special projects as required or assigned by functional leadership.



job Requirements


SKILL AND EXPERIENCE: Education and/or Experience:


4-5 years successful recruiting and hiring experience, preferably in a financial services or sales-oriented organization

Experience recruiting sales personnel a plus

Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry

Highly motivated, hands-on, self-starter that is able work independently

Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment required

Knowledge of key recruiting craft skills, including various sourcing, candidate selection, selling and negotiating techniques, as well as candidate management systems

Excellent oral (including presentation) and written communication skills

Strong project management and financial skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong analytical skills

Relationship management skills

BS in Related Field (Business, Communications, Organizational Development, or similar)
