Director of Asset Management

IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR DIRECTOR OF ASSET MANAGEMENT for our growing corporate branch office located in Alpharetta, Georgia.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The changing nature of the industry requires a generalist fully conversant in all aspects of property operations, with a particular strength in financial management, real estate valuation, and general sound business conduct.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage debt and equity portfolio of properties from inception to resolution.
Formulate and execute deal resolutions to maximize repayment of debt or return for client-investor
Assessing performance of assets relative to original underwriting strategies or business plans, competitors, and market conditions
Review and approve of monthly reports and semi-annual property valuations
Interact with third party consultants including attorneys, title agents, brokers and sales agents, and construction consultants
Review and approval of draw requests
Coordinate asset servicing and reporting responsibilities with internal departments to ensure proper tracking and timely and accurate reporting.
This position is based in our Alpharetta (Atlanta area), Georgia office.


COMPENSATION:

Salary of $75000 - $100000 based on experience as it relates to job duties required and skill level.

Medical, Dental allowance and $25000 life insurance. Benefits begin upon hire.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

Successful candidates will have a minimum of five to ten years experience with a strong demonstrated financial management focus working for real estate firms.

Will be responsible for overseeing Asset Managers to ensure company achieves financial and operational goals, and for the development, implementation, and execution of the strategic asset plans.

In addition to strong verbal and written communication skills, the ideal candidate will be a client-focused team player with a strategic approach to meet challenging deadlines and have:

Performed and supervised the performance of detailed financial and strategic analysis of real estate portfolios.

Knowledge of partnership agreements, loan documents, and escrow documents

Ensured that portfolios meet asset quality standards

The ability to build and manage senior client relationships

Strong market analysis & negotiation skills

Finance, real estate, engineering, or other business-related degree; MBA required

The ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible to changing priorities

The ability to travel
