They will manage the coordinating and distribution of tasks associated with trades and ensure that all is completed within the allotted time frame. Candidate must have managerial experience and work well under pressure. We are in search of a strong communicator who is organized and is comfortable with work that demands attention to detail and accuracy. Candidate must have excessive knowledge of all mortgage documents and underwriting/processing knowledge. Candidate must have the ability to think outside of the box, strategize on quick remedies, conduct independent research and develop creative problem solving remedies for deficient loans. Must be able to work efficiently under time pressure, adapt to changes in the pace of work, and comfortable with an evolving job role.Major Responsibilities and Essential Duties:•Responsible for all aspects of the trade.
•Monitor the Investor is adhering to the established trade calendar dates and alert TM when the Investor is out of compliance.
•Assign new trades to team.
•Order data tape and forward to the Investor.
•Delegate loan list to team leaders for reviewing and shipping.
•Ensure timely review and delivery of files to the Investor.
•Review investor suspense reports daily and monitor suspense items delegated to the team.
•Delegate work assignments to employees.
•Ensure timely delivery of stips to the Investor.
•Monitor issues assigned to the appropriate departments relating to collateral, appraisal and compliance and ensure that items are received and forwarded to the Investor within the time frame.
•Monitor daily production of all team members.•Monitor suspense reports daily to ensure conditions are being cleared on a timely basis.
•Monitor daily follow-up with the Investor to review loan counts and loan status.
•Monitor daily follow-up with branches to ensure receipt of pending items.
•Monitor Investor turn-times and escalate to supervisor when not acceptable.
•Assist team members with any difficult suspense items.
•Communicate with Investor and review difficult or unclear suspense’s.
•Responsible to formulate solutions on curing problem loans.
•Elevate possible rejects to immediate supervisor.
•Utilize papervision to obtain documents.
•Utilize excel/hud folder to obtain documents.
•Monitor the delivery of trailing documents to the imaging center and ensure compliance.
•Responsible for resolving suspense’s related to guideline, credit, legal, appraisal and compliance issues and elevate when necessary.
•Knowledge of AHM guidelines.
•Validate APR and high cost exceptions.
•Re-underwrite loans to appeal investor decisions.
•Validate data discrepancies and make all necessary corrections.
•Organize and maintain pipeline reports with current status on each loan.
•Monitor the daily input of loan status and ensure all pertinent dates are entered into the Trade Access system and Unifi.
•Monitor reject dates are entered into the system no later than day of settlement.
•Responsible for updating daily trade status sheets.
•Responsible for clearing all data discrepancies.
•Request balances from the servicing department 2 days prior to trade settlement.
•Run a zip file to include warehouse lines, combine with the balances and forward to Investor.
•Tie out trade with Investor 2 days prior to settlement.
•Responsible for receiving and providing secondary with final balances and WAC from the Investor 2 days prior to settlement.
•Responsible for receiving and providing secondary with funding memo 1 day prior to settlement.
•Responsible for ordering release letters.
•Must meet accuracy bench mark.
•Must meet daily production standard.
•Responsible for the hire of new employees.
•Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of time off for all employees.
•Responsible for annual reviews of all employees.
•Responsible for the training of all employees

4+ Years experience in Mortgage Banking Lending (Seasoned Under Writer)
4+ Years managerial experience
Knowledge of processing/underwriting a must
High School Diploma or equivalent
