Customer Service Tele Rep I

Customer Service Telephone Representative IResponsibilities:

Receives, responds to and processes customer telephone inquiries on real estate loans in a high volume call center.

Identifies customer issues.

Offers timely solutions.

Cross-refers products and services.

Handles 75+ calls on average per day.

Participates in telemarketing and outbound dialing campaigns (as needed).

Sets follow-ups (as needed) to resolve issues, including escalating ongoing issues to the Team Leader.

Maintains a timeline and autologs calls.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned, which may include but is not limited to email and correspondence from customers.Requirements:

A high school diploma, GED or equivalent .

6 months to 1 year of customer service experience (or equivalent).

Knowledge of mortgage banking or a related industry, including knowledge of and familiarity with: TILA, RESPA, FSRA, FDCA, TICPA and SSCRA.

Knowledge of state and federal laws relating to financial privacy, fair lending, bankruptcy, workout, foreclosure, payoffs, escrow and assumptions.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong typing (30wpm) and 10-key by sight skills.

Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and AS/400.Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience in a call center environment.
