Customer Service Officer

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Customer Service Manager in supervising or guiding the activities of selected customer service or financial service employees in a Community Bank location toward the effective delivery of high quality customer service in processing transactions and in meeting customers’ financial needs. Supports all CSM responsibilities including hiring, termination, and performance evaluations. Assists with operational duties of the office as well as provides relief for the various key positions within the office; may function as a CSR when needed provided this does not exceed 50% of working time. CSO positions are assigned only to larger Community Bank locations where CSR duties are limited to 20% of work performed or in some cases to satellite office locations, which have no assigned Customer Service Manager. Individuals in this position are typically being developed for an eventual assignment as a Customer Service Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated leadership competencies and the ability to train and develop Customer Service Representatives.
Demonstrated focus in work on prompt, efficient, accurate and courteous customer service.Ability to interface with all areas of the Bank in a professional manner for the best interest of the Bank and the customer.
Minimum two years of experience in banking with demonstrated working knowledge of all Bank products, services and pricing.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to exercise sound decision-making.
Proficient in PC applications
