Job Duties
Answer routine customer inquiries regarding Savings account status, interest and term provisions, World policies, and additional products and services available.
Open new accounts and access customer accounts to process online and offline transactions and corrections (e.g. mortgage payments, deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing).
Promote products and services to existing customers in support of individual and Branch sales goals.
Balance cash drawer and transaction totals in comparison to computer records daily.
Issue ATM cards and open and close safe deposit boxes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services.
Operate a variety of office equipment, including personal computer, copy machine, fax machine, 10-key adding machine, shredder, and check imager.
Attend and complete appropriate Savings training classes and computer-based training sessions.
Assist in Branch activities necessary for Branch balancing and operations.
Assist in maintaining Branch environment in accordance with Company guidelines.
Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
At least 6 months prior customer service or retail experience preferred.
A concern for others and exceptional customer service skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to spot mistakes.
Dependability and the highest ethical standards.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
The ability to cooperate with others.
Basic math skills and the ability to multitask.
Ability to learn and understand corporate philosophy and meet customer service and sales expectations.
Basic computer skills.
