Customer Service

Support inbound sales calls to convert calls into sales. Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers. Emphasizes salable features and quotes prices, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained. Performs Contract review on orders and RFQ’s received. Extracts pertinent information from documentation received from customer to Sales Orders to ensure all customer requirements are met on delivered material. Reviews order information entered on SO to verify compliance with customer requirements. Prepares and deliver quotes Works with Purchasing to ensure customer requirements are flown down to vendors. Enter Suggested Purchase Orders for non-stock and special order items as required Monitor SO status to ensure customer required delivery date will be met. Notify customer when delivery date cannot be kept Tracks stock levels. Verifies/Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules for both sites. Communicates and coordinates with outside sales to insure customer satisfaction and awareness of any issues and changes in customer requirements. Builds and maintains customer relationships. Prepares reports of business transactions as requested by management. Maintains customer data, contact information and other sales data for current customers inventory management system. Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers to qualify leads and sell products and services. Investigates and resolves customer problems with order fulfillment including on time delivery, quality, documentation and other paperwork. Maintain log over customer resolved quality issued and forward periodically to quality




job Requirements


Aerospace/Defense Customer Service Language Skills- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American and Metric weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Graco’s inventory management software, Microsoft Office applications
