Cross Stream Program Lead

By combining your talent and our strengths, we can acheive great results.The Program Lead Is responsible for managing the execution of Cross Stream activities within the IT FIRC business including: strategic IT initiatives, key performance indicator and benefits realization reporting, issue and risk management, addressing interdependencies and setting consistent standards and processes. The Program Lead will work closely with the IT GSD Leads to determine and scope business-wide strategic IT initiatives to be implemented within FIRC. The Program Lead will direct and develop the project managers embedded with in the team and perform key people management activities. The Program Lead will also: Work with the GSD managers to improve process consistency and operational risk compliance across IT capabilities such as product release, incident management and systems support. Manage business and IT management (client) relationships. Work closely with the GSD managers to ensure deliverables are in compliance with bank standards and architectural models. Ensure that new projects and initiatives support the FIRC strategic vision and are not clouded by short-term objectives or client pressure. Where applicable, build long-term relationships with reliable external suppliers. In collaboration with senior management, ensure the appropriate staffing for the project team. Ensure all project members are fully informed of project status and their responsibilities, including dependencies on other teams/projects. Ensure that team members build necessary skills for future projects by setting challenging tasks and objectives. Identify any components of the team that are not performing and monitor closely to rectify. Manage and control business risks and costs for the project (within agreed budget). Ensure that communication and issue management is clear and concise. Show understanding of bank’s technology cost base and management thereof, with the objective of contributing to cost reduction. Ensure team has an up to date technical knowledge and is aware of industry best practice and bank standards. Continually improve knowledge of business processes within project teams and personally.Requirements and principles of a Program Lead are as follows: Assess, Scope and manage across IT Strategy and Initiatives within the IT FIRC business. REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:College degree or post-graduate degree
8-12 years Program/IT Management experience
