Credit and Fraud Data Analyst

If so, we have an opportunity on our Credit Risk team for you! This NEWLY CREATED role will have the following responsibilities and requires the following qualifications:

•Analyze, develop and monitor existing and new tools and processes to increase and improve the acquisition of new credit accounts.

•Utilize credit underwriting tools and available performance data to support campaign management efforts and ensure highly effective pre-screening efforts lead to credit qualified customers before catalogs are even shipped.

•Analyze, develop and implement strategies to minimize fraud losses in new and existing accounts.

•Regularly provide and analyze portfolio performance reports to assist in determining credit risk success and loss forecasts.

•Organize and analyze data to evaluate strategy effectiveness and identify enhancement opportunities.

•This role will also assist in developing and maintaining credit underwriting and fraud management tools and processes for new business development opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of credit risk assessment experience. Candidates with more experience are also encouraged to apply. This position also requires strong computer skills including experience with using business intelligent analytic software such as SPSS, SAS or SQL, strong analytical and organizational skills, an impeccable level of attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. BS or BA degree in math or statistics is preferred, but a degree in finance or business will also be considered with relevant experience.
