Credit Services Administrative Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides administrative assistance and support for the Manager of Credit Analysis and Credit Analysts to maintain and increase departmental efficiency. Primary responsibilities include: ordering and processing regulatory examinations, preparing quarterly caseload review summaries, and processing credit availability requests.
EXAM PROCESS
Orders regulatory examinations.
Resolves discrepancies with the federal and state regulatory agencies with respect to examination orders, including invoices, where applicable.
Ensures examinations are received in a timely manner and follows up with regulatory agencies until examinations are received.
Enters Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality, Management, Earnings, Liquidity, and Sensitivity (CAMELS) rating in Credit Workbench and distribute reports to analysts.
Responsible for monthly examination disposal and regulator notification.
Maintains examination files.
Caseload Review Summary ? Attends quarterly caseload meetings, takes note, and prepares meeting summaries for distribution.
Credit Availability ? Processes credit availability worksheets by entering credit limits in credit workbench. Creates, mails, and files letters.
WatchList – Processes WatchList additions, removals, or exemptions as requested by analysts. Ensures required signatures are obtained, enters requirement into the POS Maintenance application, and maintains WatchList forms for future reference and audit purposes.
Reports – Ensures that systems and operations submit the required monthly and quarterly reports in a timely manner.
Recorded Lines ? Reviews department-recorded lines quarterly to ensure they are in working order.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Maintains and updates procedures for Credit Analysis.
Maintains central files to include, but not limited to, member credit files, exams, and unsecured credit.
Makes travel arrangements.
Maintains the department calendar, orders supplies, and distributes mail.
Makes copies,, sends faxes,, and provides general office support.
Complete other duties, as assigned.
Manages administrative projects that may include, but are not limited to, mass mailings, revised desk procedures, and staff meeting minutes. May participate in other departments' projects.
REQUIREMENTS
A High School diploma, two years of technical/college education, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills are required.
Excellent listening, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.
