Credit Risk Analyst

Monitor news and news information related to our customers via the internet, business journals and periodicals. Create and perform a schedule of regular credit reviews for all customers and assist in developing criteria for ad hoc credit reviews. Work with Manager to analyze the credit review process and make improvements where warranted. As changes occur in the relationship between advertising agencies, advertisers and media providers, evaluate and make recommendations to accommodate those changes to minimize credit risk. Review internal reports and work with the Credit Analysts on accounts with high exposures or those with a high risk of default. Recommend specific credit/collection actions based upon the analysis of the customers current financial condition. Perform ad hoc duties as necessary to monitor credit exposure.

The credit review process requires the ability to review and interpret credit reports and financial statements in order to make an informed prediction on whether the customer will pay the amounts due TBS on time. This implies an ability to understand the significance of financial results including the relevancy of the financial information presented, financial ratios, retained earnings, cash flow, changes in balance sheet accounts, income statement results and the auditors opinion. The analyst should be able to understand the customers core business, the business cycle, and the proposed deal.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting. Five years experience in Finance and Credit Analysis, preferably in banking or commercial lending. Ability to communicate with all levels of management. Excellent interpersonal skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Analytical skills: Demonstrable competence in interpreting credit reports and financial statements for credit approval.
Technical Skills: Thorough competency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Organizational Skills: Able to multi-task several projects/responsibilities.
