Credit Assistant

Credit Assistant with strong credit background is needed to join our credit team.

Duties Include:
Check credit references
Enter credit applications into system
Set-up new customers in system
Obtain credit reports
File/Scan/Copy reports and backup documentation as needed
Daily Deposits

We are a Building materials distribution center servicing eight branches in four states. We sell to commercial subcontractors, general contractors, residential builders, hotels, schools, and hospitals. We do not sell retail and have been in business for over 40 years. This position is located near the CBD in New Orleans, Louisiana.

REQUIREMENTS
Accounts Receivable collections experience required.
Must have knowledge of all other areas of credit.
Strong PC skills required and must have a service-oriented attitude.
We are looking for a team member who can multi-task yet work independently.
