Credit Analyst - Entry Level

Home State Bank, a $700 Million community bank with 7 location in McHenry County, seeks a dynamic individual to join its Credit Department in Crystal Lake.

The Credit Analyst will be trained to develop the necessary technical skills to become an effective member of the Commercial Loan Group. The Credit Analyst will learn the Bank's corporate structure, corporate loan policy, credit analysis, loan products, loan structuring, and loan documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities include analyzing commercial loan application and reviewing financial statements for the purpose of determining credit worthiness of existing and potential commercial borrowers. The Credit Analyst will prepare detailed write-ups and credit risk assessments to include the financial strengths and weaknesses of potential borrowers.

Candidates must have the following:
-Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
-Solid analytical skills
-Strong communication skills (oral and written)
-Ability to read and understand bank and financial documents
-Ability to keep information confidential
