As a Counsel or Senior Counsel in our Mortgage Services Law department, you will provide legal advice on a wide range of subjects to mortgage services clients. Use your working knowledge of RESPA, TILA, FCRA, ECOA, HOEPA and related mortgage lending or consumer lending laws. Oversee and conduct the preparation and review of various legal instruments, documents, analysis, memorandum and correspondence. Monitor litigation matters and recommend supervision of outside counsel. Review and analyze legislation and regulations affecting company operations where appropriate. Function autonomously keeping management and other lawyers advised of work progress and any unusual situations.

job Requirements



JD or LLB

Minimum of five years in mortgage lending or consumer lending

Ability to work with a variety of business partners

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proven skills in professional breadth of judgment and maturity

Must be licensed in United States HSBC Compensation
