The Position:First Horizon has revolutionized corporate recruiting with its innovative Sales Recruiting team in the past 3 years. Traditionally, within corporation of our size and demeanor, ‘recruiting’ is a part of Human Resources and tends to be more ‘reactive’ than ‘proactive’ in nature.
We have made radical changes to this traditional model by taking our recruiting division and segmenting it to put together a team of proactive and aggressive recruiters who seek out the ideal passive candidate for our needs. We have combined traditional internal processes with more sophisticated head-hunting techniques used by search firms across the globe. REQUIREMENTS
Education:Bachelor’s degree ideally in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or General BusinessPersonal Attributes:This individual must be capable of approaching their role with two things in mind: Building the program internally with our hiring managers and filling positions. This Recruiter must possess strong leadership abilities and will be a solid, articulate, intelligent individual who is well rounded and has a strong presence. This individual should have a sincere, outgoing manner that inspires trust, confidence, and respect. He/She should have sufficient stature as a recruiter to exert a positive influence on the hiring managers we work with and the potential recruits for First Horizon. The person we seek will be a team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. This individual will have strong business acumen and the ability to achieve and appropriate balance between production (filling positions) while maintaining a sound relationship with our business lines.Experience:•The ideal candidate has a broad range of recruiting experience (preferrably in the mortgage industry)whether from external search firm recruiting, account management, or aggressive corporate recruiting perspectives.•A good understanding of the financial industry is a huge plus.•Ideal candidate must have 3 + years of PROACTIVE recruiting experience.
