Corporate Bond Credit Risk Analyst

Our client, a subsidiary of a major international bank, is seeking a credit risk analyst to assess the risks of corporate bonds. The ideal candidate will possess 3 + years credit analysis experience and prior exposure to investment and securities markets as well as strong financial analysis and quantitative skills.

Major Responsibilities:
•Perform in depth credit analysis to assess credit risks of corporate bonds.
•Make recommendations to management based on analysis performed
•Monitor and construct written reviews of a securities portfolio
•Analyze industry trends that may effect the assigned portfolio
•Participate in group projects that will improve processes and make the group more resourcefulJob Requirements
•3 + years credit analysis experience at an investment or commercial bank
•Financial analysis experience and or strong quantitative skills.
•Exposure to investment and securities markets
•Familiar with technical terminology
•MS Office proficient especially Excel and PowerPoint
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Team Oriented
•Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Finance or Economics
