Corp Facilities Budget Analyst I

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze information received from credit applications and credit reporting agencies to make prudent credit decisions.
Negotiate terms and conditions of credit decisions with dealers, leveraging risk versus reward to ensure credit quality and profitability.
Concur on loan decisions recommended to the Credit Manager with greater credit authority.
Regularly communicates with all CCB division associates, assigned dealer base and vendors.
Establishes weekly funding goals from their assigned dealers.
Monitors contract exceptions within the accepted bank guideline.
Establish strong relationships with assigned dealer base by communicating with these dealers on a daily basis.
Regularly visits their key dealers in order to maintain a strong business relationship.
Provides knowledge sharing on underwriting issues to division associates having lesser experience.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum five years experience in auto finance with four years in a lending capacity.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an exceptional track record of underwriting loans weighing risk for reward.
Must be service oriented and possess exceptional verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills in order to utilize the bank's assigned credit processing system.
Expert knowledge of auto lending practices, policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
Current or existing dealer relationships in Maryland and Virginia preferred.
BS or BA required; business-related discipline preferred.
