Conversion Specialist-Employee Benefits

Our prestigious client is in need of your experience with employee benefits ! A conversion specialist in the corporate retirement services department serves as liaison between our client, their customer and the prior service provider in order to facilitate the transfer of trust/custodial responsibilities, securities and cash to the company. Heavy contact with attorneys, brokers, third party administrators and high profile clients. You will learn and be able to explain the legal documents and talk about retirement services, handle a high volume of work and multi-task.
You will communicate with various bank operational areas and the account service team, as well as interface with clients and their agents to resolve issues and confirm details of the conversion. You will interface with the prior custodian to transfer cash and securities. You will distribute and collect required documentation to/from clients; open and code trust accounts on trust system.


Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and/or work experience. Two years of related experienceDemonstrate a strong level of proficiency in the use of personal computers and software packages. Intermediate to advanced level in Word and Excel required.Excellent organizational skillsGood written and verbal skills (not afraid to explain documents/problems to alliance partners and clients)Ability to multi-task (may be handling several different conversions, in various stages, at the same time)Ability to work independently or in a teamKnowledge of employee benefits or retirement services are a big plus
