Commodity Manager / AVP

Our Client, an Investment Management Firm based in New York City is searching for a Commodity’s Manager/AVP. In this dynamic role, the ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years experience Sourcing/Procurement and with category knowledge, centered around a strong focus on generalized “indirect” Spend categories like Print Management, Facilities/Building, Courier Services and Office Products. They should also have strong IT Category knowledge as well, with a focus on Communications Hardware and related services.

This ideal candidate will also be focused on driving costs out of the supply chain without compromising or affecting Service/Product quality.

Our Client is offering a Base salary of up to 125K plus a Generous Bonus.Job Requirements
•BA/BS Degree Required-MBA or Equivalent a Plus!
•Financial Services/Healthcare/Consumer Business/
•5+ Years Experience in Procurement/Sourcing, Contract negotiation, strategic alliance development and competitive price and cost analysis
•Strong Project Management/Strategic decision making!
•CPM/CPIM Preferred!
•Ability to Interact with Senior Management.
