Operations ManagerA leading Financial Services Firm located in the heart of Manhattan
An Established Financial Services firm is seeking an Operations Manager to provide supervision and guidance to the Check & Visa services staff by monitoring all work performed, delegating responsibilities and ensuring an efficient workflow. The individual will oversee the check and visa functions of the department and ensure that they are completed effectively, efficiently and in a timely manner. Responsibilities include:Conduct weekly departmental and one on staff meetingsAutomate existing processes and proceduresTrain, coach and evaluate team of representativesImplement and reinforce new policies and proceduresEstablish relationship with external vendorsMonitor all check and debit card fraud activities and provide weekly summation including trend analysis, to management Work on special projects as requested by managementHands-on coverage of all administrative related work; resolve general problems.Prepare/conduct/evaluate the staff performance reviews.

REQUIREMENTS
Previous management experience is a must. Detail oriented and self motivated. College degree is required. Excellent communication skills, including ability to articulate thoughts to management in a clear and concise manner.
