REQUIREMENTS
What are the Qualifications


Business degree or related experience in Lending or Retail Banking Sales experience in the mortgage industry Excellent written & oral communications skills Ability to understand underwriting guidelines for Conventional, FHA and VA Loans Ability to understand policies and procedures of the secondary mortgage market Possess a basic working knowledge of real estate transactions


Duties Include


Developing and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals, builders and other referral sources Originating 1-4 family residential mortgage loans and second mortgage loans according to guidelines by taking borrower applications, accurately quoting rates, points and closing costs Following the loan from application to closing with professionalism and excellent customer service Identifying borrower needs and matching those needs to the right loan product Analyzing financial data, credit report data, appraisal reports, title reports and underwriting findings
