Commercial Real Estate Banker IV

We are currently looking for a Commercial Real Estate Banker IV for our Sarasota - Pineapple location.

Primary Function:
Originates large and complex permanent income property mortgage loans and participates in related business development activities.

Has responsibilities such as:

1. Soliciting and underwriting income property mortgages through contacts with brokers, builders, and developers.
2. Providing service to customers and prospective customers seeking income property mortgage loans.
a. Interviews applicants to develop information concerning their needs,
desires, and earnings to assist in determining whether the loan will be an acceptable risk; obtains and analyzes pertinent financial and credit data.
b. Appraises or arranges for the appraisal of income producing properties.
c. Arranges for or conducts title searches and obtains necessary documents.
d. Approves or rejects loans, referring larger loans to senior officers or a loan committee.
e. Ensures the preparation and processing of forms and legal documents required for income property mortgage loans.
f. Follows current loans to ensure conformity with terms.
3. Negotiating terms and conditions of loan with mortgagors.
4. Keeping informed of trends and developments in the real estate market, as well as the changing rules and regulations pertaining to investments in income property.
5. Calling on potential or existing customers as assigned to develop new business or retain existing business.
6. Providing advice and guidance to less-experienced officers.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate lending experience.
