Commercial Loan System Specialist I

> Responsible for the processing of the standard commercial loan transactions into the Metavante loan accounting system which entails utilizing the LaserPro to Metavante interface and processing the simpler modifications and letter agreements
> Interacts with Commercial Lenders, Commercial Administrators, and Loan Review to ensure that information he or she keys into the loan system is accurate and complies with all applicable legal and regulatory guidelines as well as the Bankā??s policies and procedures
> Information keyed consists of new loans, renewals, extensions, payments, loan advances, fee plans, commitments and other maintenance
> Provides quality customer service on a daily basis to the previously mentioned areas Job Requirements
Education(ED), Experience(EX), and Knowledge/Abilities (K/A), required for competent performance in the job:High School Diploma or equivalent. Business or college accounting courses preferred.
Minimum one (1) year loan operations or bookkeeping experience to include loan or accounting system input. Commercial experience preferred.Ability to interpret commercial loan documentation and commercial loan terminology.Knowledge of accounting systems and general accounting principles.Knowledge of loan products, services and policies.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with a wide variety of customers.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to proof work.Ability to use a personal computer, database and spreadsheet applications.
