Commercial Loan Portfolio Analyst
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Corporate Financial ServicesFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: *Manage and service a portfolio of commercial loan accounts within an operations unit. Process ongoing advances, collections and related transactions (including Letters of Credit) according to credit agreement requirements.Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reconciliation of all accounts (e.g. credit limits, contractual pricing, accruals, borrowing bases, etc.). Drive prompt closure/settlement of all open/suspense items, including researching and identifying root causes.Own/drive loan terminations, securing internal/external parties' understanding, compliance and completion.Own/drive data integrity and completeness for assigned portfolio and ensure system reflects transactional history.Minimize organizational risk by following operational standard procedures, identifying suspicious/inconsistent activity, notifying appropriate parties and taking appropriate action.Monitor/report on various statistics (metrics) on your account, including past due receivables (e.g., fees, principal, expense reimbursements).In conjunction with Credit Administrator and Collateral Analyst, partner with clients, internal/external parties to resolve/prevent issues and maximize customer satisfaction.Maintain up-to-date, well-organized documentation and files.Keep knowledge current on portfolio, clients, loan accounting, operational procedures, systems and controls.Contribute to organizational projects and improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in finance or accounting with academic or work experience in accounting, finance or operations within financial services, (or high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience).ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Clearly articulate reasons behind a particular course of action or approach.Expertise in Excel or Access and quickly adapt to software enhancements.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Exhibit and demonstrate urgency, accuracy, timeliness, and teamwork.Recognize non-obvious patterns in data and connect disparate pieces of information to form conclusions.Remain focused/confident in environment of uncertainty or incomplete information.
