Commercial Loan Closer

Purpose:
Our client, a leader in many banking and financial services lines, including retail banking, home loans, commercial banking, and card services, is seeking a Loan Closer. You will have emphasis on closing commercial real estate loans.

On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for a number of tasks related to the processing, closing, and funding of commercial real estate loans including: documenting and funding transactions for new loan originations; ensuring commercial real estate loans are documented, collateralized, and closed according to departmental/bank policy procedures; closing and managing a national portfolio for a specific region; overseeing regional closings within time constraints; coordinating the finalization of the closing funding package including HUD settlement statements.

To be qualified for this position, you should have 2-4 years related experience in closing, funding, and processing of commercial real estate lending. You should have a strong working knowledge of estoppels, tenant leases, current real estate laws, refinancing, title policy, etc. If you also have a 4 year college degree, you are a preferred candidate.
