Client Support Representative (PALMS System)

SS&C Technologies, Inc., a dynamic, high-technology company has an opening in our Bloomington, Minnesota office for a Client Support Representative for the PALMS (PortPro Asset Liability Management) system. This system allows our customers to easily and effectively manage and analyze their balance sheet and provides a wide range of on-line reports and the ability to perform A/L simulations.The Client Support Representative is responsible for providing high quality asset liability services, accurately, efficiently and professionally with the customer's satisfaction as the Number One priority. In this challenging role, you will convert customers to the PortPro Asset Liability Management Service (PALMS) System; assist with mapping product codes and general ledger accounts; assist with data processing and completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual tasklists; balance data files received from clients; answer client's technical and theoretical inquiries, problem resolution and deliver revised reports; train new clients on the use and navigation of the PALMS model; and assist with the testing of product updates and other department projects and initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include:* Bachelors degree in Accounting, or 2-3 years related banking experience* Experience in asset liability, MS Query and Excel* Ability to set direction as it relates to problem identification and solution* Must evidence initiative and the ability to learn quickly* Must have a strong customer focus and experience in handling customer inquiries with a professional and mature demeanor. Having a desire to increase technical knowledge is key to success.
