Client Relationship Manager, Client Investment Services Team
Business Unit: GE CorporateFunction: Customer ServiceResponsibilities: The Client Investment Services Team manages 140 external client portfolios that shadow investment models run by GEAM equity portfolio managers for the GE Pension Trust.As a Relationship Manager you will act as the primary contact for a wide variety of institutional clients which include: Corporations, Endowments, Foundations, Religious Organizations, Public Funds and International Government Entities. It is essential to communicate your client's requirements and feedback in a positive and constructive manner.Responsibilities include:-
Daily client communication, responding in an effective and timely manner to ad-hoc client requests. May require research and analysis of various performance and portfolio data sources, including seeking input and approval from various areas of the business (e.g. legal, finance, etc).
Facilitating the integration of new client assets, as well as on-going contributions to and withdrawals from a variety of investment vehicles (e.g. mutual funds, separate accounts, commingled funds and partnerships).
Maintaining a strong knowledge in a wide range of asset classes (e.g. US Equity, International Equity, China, India, Emerging Markets, Fixed Income, Insurance Products, Real Estate and/or Private Equity) by attending asset class meetings and working with portfolio managers and analysts to gain an in-depth understanding of their investment philosophy, strategy, tactical actions and long-term views.
Creating, developing and delivering client portfolio reviews to communicate performance drivers and markets/industry trends.
Creating and maintaining account plans for each client.
Researching and analyzing portfolio performance drivers in order to proactively communicate and adequately respond to client questions.
Continually researching news and data that may be of interest to clients in an effort to deliver potential solutions and strengthen relationships with your existing client base.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * College Education BA/BS
Minimum 3 years investment experience (e.g. analysis, accounting)
Series 7 & 63 licensed or ability to obtain license within 6 months
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Demonstrated project management skills
Displays unyielding integrity
Must be willing to travel 30-50% of the time (US & Internationally)
Highly organized, focused on deadlines, with a strong attention to detail
Must have unlimited authorization to work in the United States
