Full Job Title: Chief Engineer (NSP) Skills Management Title Sys of Sys Architect EngJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: Boeing's National Security Programs is looking for a senior SIGINT Systems Engineer to provide overall engineering leadership to a major program whose charge is to develop and deliver short term prototype capabilities addressing some of the most pressing challenges faced by our primary customer. The individual would be responsible for oversight of the technical health and engineering processes used on the contract, championing the discovery and insertion of leading edge technologies, selecting senior technical personnel on the contract, ensuring implementation and use of consistent system engineering processes and quality across the contract and providing insight and guidance to overcome engineering problems. This position is a named position on the contract leadership team and as so is senior consultant for all technical decisions and direction on the contract. Competencies To effectively perform in this capacity, it is expected that the individual has a significant number of years of SIGINT engineering experience, works well with others, understands the role of Service Oriented Architectures, can independently seek to reveal and resolve problems that affect operational, program or research and development issues, and can effectively guide the engineering efforts of others.Notes: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
