Chase Home Mortgage Loan Officer - Greater Saginaw, MI (BBLO)

As a loan officer, you will solicit mortgage loans from referral sources. Those sources include, but are not limited to, Realtors, branch customer leads (where there are branch bank locations in your local market), existing clients, builders, and other networking avenues. In this role you will take complete applications for mortgage loans, including follow-up for documentation required for processing in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. You will keep all parties to the transaction informed as to status of application and set the appropriate customer and source expectations. Educate all parties on the entire mortgage origination process and quote rates to the customers and follow through to ensure the loan is properly locked. It is preferred that you maintain a minimum monthly pipeline of $500,000. You will provide a high level of customer service to customers and employees. You will comply with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhere to all HMDA requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of three years of mortgage lending or mortgage banking experience is preferred. College degree or 4 years equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate is required Sales and consulting skills required Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of real estate market in local area Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC guidelines FHA/VA sales experience preferred Intermediate PC skills required in a Windows environment
