Cash Management Officer - Albany, NY

Purpose/Objective
:  Develops new cash management business by contacting prospective customers.  Periodically meets with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.  Prepares sales presentations, and explains and recommends those services which would be of value to the customer.  Ensures that other company officers are aware of the company's cash management sales activities and that they assist in promoting the company's cash management sales program; works in conjunction with lending officers to promote the company's cash management program.  Assists in the design and proper installation of cash management services.  Assists management in the development of new services, modification of existing services, development of a marketing strategy, and establishment of sales objectives. Key Accountabilities:
 1.      Initiate cash management calling plan.  Actively call on new and existing corporate clients to meet cash management sales objectives.  Strong knowledge of the areas major employers, new businesses , key players in the market and the competition.   40%
 2.      Prepares and presents written cash management proposals to corporate customers and prospects.  Educates customers on products/services and advises appropriately based on their needs.  Stays abreast of new products and services.   30%
 3.      Acts as a relationship manager.  Follows up with existing relationships on a periodic basis to ensure needs are being met and relationships are cultivated by providing a high level of customer service.   20%
 4.      Partner with other lines of business (i.e. Trust, Commercial Lending) to build internal referrals.   10%
 Participates in business related community events to represent the bank in a positive manner.  <tbody>Education: 
 
Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred, or equivalent work experienceExperience:
  5-7 years’ experience in banking 1-3 years’ Cash Management Sales experience with demonstrated results 3 years’ experience working with commercial services products preferred Skills & Knowledge:
  High level customer service, sales and public relations skills Superior communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills Extensive knowledge of cash management services and related areas (internet banking, ACH, bank wire, account transfer, commercial cash management)</tbody></table>
