Cash Analyst - Automated Financial Services

POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for forecasting cash loads and bank orders for all Vcom units, which includes analyzing the forecasted orders that are produced from our forecasting tool to ensure optimal levels are met. The position entails working with the funding bank to ensure orders are placed properly and also working with the armored carrier to ensure proper orders are received and loaded.


This position will also back up some corporate treasury functions and the monitoring position which includes handling all cash-related SNMP traps on all Vcom units to maintain adequate cash levels along with any issues relating to being able to service the machine with cash and ensure maximum Vcom availability in support of departmental goals. This also includes handling calls that come into the Vcom Cash Management Monitoring line and take the appropriate action based on the issue.


EARLY MORNING AND SOME WEEKEND HOURS ARE REQUIRED TO BACK UP MONITORING POSITION


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
1. Maintain the forecasting tool to ensure optimal loads are forecasted for all Vcom units. This includes analyzing forecasted loads daily and provides files of load amounts to the armored carrier and reconciling partner.
2. Forecast proper bank orders daily and place orders into the funding bank's online system. Communicate with the funding bank to ensure accuracy.
3. Communicate with the armored carrier to ensure proper levels of cash are maintained in their inventory and resolve any issues that arise. This includes receiving the necessary files from them daily.
4. Monitor daily that the armored services are completed according to requests and address any differences with them.
5. Communicate with our external partners and other internal departments to resolve any cash related issues.
6. Analyze reports received from our reconciling partner to ensure accuracy.
7. Document and report vendor performance in support of business objectives, which includes analyzing the data along with tracking history and reporting it to management. Participate in armored service and maintenance vendor related calls and meetings.
8. Resolve issues as needed and escalate to the Vendor Relationship Manager those that fall outside contracted Service Level Agreements. This includes reviewing the vendor invoice of services for accuracy.
9. Serve as back-up for monitoring position and some corporate treasury functions.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred, along with a minimum of 2 – 3 years of cash management or other related experience. Position also requires the ability to proficiently use Excel, Word and Outlook, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Also need to be able to work with multiple internal and external databases and effectively communicate with programmers, so some technical background is a plus. Forecasting tool used is iCom.
