Our professionals bring extensive experience in trading, treasury and investment management, operations, accounting, and management consulting to each assignment.  We work with clients to identify, quantify and manage market
and operational risks, to define their critical risk/reward expectations, identify sources of risk, and then quantify, mitigate, and monitor them on an on-going basis.  Specifically, our consulting projects include risk assessment and solution implementation for business strategies and policies, business processes, organization structure, risk modeling, management reporting and risk systems.  We help clients draw the necessary information from the capital markets, their customers, regulators and other sources, analyze the information across risk classes, and report the information to managers in an efficient but secure format to facilitate tactical and strategic decision making.  
 
Capital Markets is growing its Treasury consulting services. We wish to grow our penetration in the Eastern U.S.and have resources located in this region to focus on business opportunities and growing the practice.
 
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Capital Markets, the Manager role will be to
help grow the profile of our service offering, both internally and externally, (particularly in the region) as well as to commit to the highest service standards for both prospective and existing clients.
This position offers exposure and visibility for:
 
1)         Playing a key role in client communication, relationship development and retention, as well as engagement planning and management;
2)         Taking responsibility for business growth; and
3)         Ensuring products/deliverables meet contract/ work plan specifications and deadlines. 
 
The role is to be based in the New York metropolitan area (either Stamford or NYC). Required travel within North America may be up to 80%.
Requirements:
 
 
7+ years risk management consulting, or applicable industry experience in financial risk management or treasury operations.  Relevant public accounting experience may also be considered.
 
BA/BS in accounting, finance, or related field required; MBA preferred
.
 
Strong background in one of the following areas:
 
             Commodity, interest rate, foreign currency risk measurement and management;
             Portfolio & derivative valuation and risk analysis;
            Operational risk management and internal controls;
            Treasury & cash management;
            Capital optimization & capital raising;
            Transaction & strategy design and structuring;
                  FAS 133 Implementation services
        
 
 
In addition, a general understanding of the relationship among business, protection, technology and industry issues and characteristics as well as demonstrated ability to plan marketing programs, create and direct proposal and presentation efforts is required.
