Cage/Vault Shift Manager

The Cage/Vault Shift Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the Cage/Vault Department on assigned shift, in accordance with the company’s established policies, procedures and controls.The Cage/Vault Shift Manager:
Acts as a representative of the company, interacting with customers and Employees in a courteous, professional manner.
Implements departmental and company procedures, then trains, schedules, supervises and evaluates on Cage/Vault employees on assigned shift.
Updates procedures manuals and is responsible for the documentation of all information and the maintenance of all statistical reports.
Maintains a working knowledge of the Company’s facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise customers and fellow Employees of same, whenever possible.
Assists in the daily operations of the Cage/Vault.
Makes suggestions and recommendations, as appropriate, for improvements to policies, procedures, or the facility.
Ensures a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved, maintained, and documented.
Maintains security and accountability of casino funds during assigned shift.
Verifies the shifts paperwork for accuracy and helps solve any overages and/or shortages errors.
Ensures than there is an orderly and positive working environment in the Cage/Vault.
Is responsible for conducting performance appraisals of employees.
Is held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
Is responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or four to six years related experience, or an equivalent combination of college or experience.
Minimum of two years experience in cage/vault gaming experience required. Excellent communication skills required.
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Employees of the company.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of math.
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
