Need Commercial Underwriters of retail and wholesale multi-family (>5 units) real estate at:

New Port Beach, CA: 2 positions
Denver, Colorado: 1 position
Hoffman Heights, Chicago: 1 position

Commercial Underwriter

This candidate will be responsible for ensuring loan requests and meet company underwriting guideline requirements.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Underwriter of retail and wholesale multi-family (>5 units) real estate loans.

Verifies, calculates and analyzes financial ratios measuring applicant liquidity, asset concentrations and leverage.

Analyzes multi-family property through review of the title, appraisal, operating history, rent roll, rental agreements and notices of change in terms and conditions of tenancy.

Monitors compliance with both federal regulations and bank policies. Prepares credit memo to management recommending loan approval or denial while maintaining required loan underwriting turnaround timeframe.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires: 3+ years underwriting experience of multi-family loans. Must have thorough understanding of industry, regulations and appropriate documentation applicable to working with multi-family real estate lending practices.
