COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE LENDING MANAGER

My client bank is a strong, Mid-western minded, medium sized bank that is currently in the hunt for a Commercial Real Estate Leader. The bank is looking for someone to manage a group of 3-4 Commercial Real Estate Lenders in south east Michigan for the next year or so, and then ultimately run the entire Michigan Commercial Real Estate Lending division which consists of 11 Commercial Real Estate Lenders. It's a once in a lifetime type opportunity with a reputable bank who has done nothing but grow the portfolio for the last four years. The candidate can be physically located out of Troy or Liviona.

The bank has 65 branches in Michigan, has national presence, and wants to hire a leader. I believe this job is an extremely attractive one because the bank is willing to consider current Senior Commercial Real Estate Lenders located in south east Michigan who don't necessarily have a large amount of management experience. The bank is looking for aggressive producers who want to manage a division.

The candidate will be responsible to manage 3-4 Commercial Real Estate Lenders while holding their own portfolio. The candidate will have a responsibility to be a producing manager covering all of south east Michigan as their primary territory. We're looking for this team to go after land acquisition, land development, vertical construction, mini-perms, and conduit type C.R.E. lending. Travel will be involved to meet with prospective clients, and your lender's prospective clients.
REQUIREMENTS
The bank is looking for 10 plus years of Commercial Real Estate Lending experience. Preferably the candidates will currently be managing a team of Commercial Real Estate Lenders in south east Michigan. Candidates don't have to have management experience to be considered for the position. The bank would welcome Senior C.R.E. Lenders who want to manage and get to the next level of their careers. Formal bank credit training is preferred.
