COMMERCIAL LOAN ORIGINATOR/ MORTGAGE BROKER

Our Client is looking to add to their team a professional, highly motivated Commercial Loan Originator/Mortgage Broker. There are no licensing requirements, but after a short internal training program you can begin tapping into your earning potential!
The Commercial Loan Originator sells financial services to clients in need of financing real estate property. The mortgage brokers work on deals that our real estate brokers create, but you would mainly use our extensive resources to create your own deals. Our client is both a commercial and residential lender, focusing on the multi-family residential market.

The essential duties are as follows:
Develops prospects from current commercial customers, referral leads, and other sources.

Contacts prospective customers to present information on available services such as mortgage brokerage, lines-of-credit, or other financial services.

Determines customers' financial services needs and prepares proposals to sell services.

Reviews business trends and advises customers regarding expected fluctuations.

Attends sales and trade meetings to develop new business prospects.

Makes presentations on financial services to groups to attract new clients.

Prepares forms or agreement to complete sale.

Evaluates costs and revenue of agreements to determine if they are profitable to continue.

Sells services such as mortgage brokerage to other financial institutions.

Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.

Develops and maintains relationships with customers.
REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate:
1) Entrepreneurial, straight commission type of person and comfortable working on straight commission.

2) Currently functioning well in a lending environment.

3) Willing to partake in an extensive and proven training.
