Responsibilities:Qualified candidate will work improving processes and projects. Suitable candidates should be naturally curious, passionate about solving business problems through high-quality solutions, and be someone who can demonstrate flexibility in meeting the needs of a challenging, fast-paced business environment. Capable of working within a team or as a sole contributor as required, able to both drive the process and accept direction, as the situation demands.
Analysts can expect an intense experience working closely with senior bankers, experts from other groups and clients. On a daily basis analysts are called upon to analyze data, generate ideas, and solve problems. Analysts are typically assigned to several teams and must work efficiently to balance the tasks and deadlines of simultaneous financings and/or tasks.
This is part on an ongoing effort to improve efficiency of the technology and deliver better products across the Equities Division. Positions are based in New York City.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
·BA/BS/MS/MBA·4-7 years of financial services experience (Big 5 background a distinct plus)·In-depth knowledge of Equity Platforms, including Cash or Derivatives, Portfolio or Electronic Trading
·Some technical knowledge of Databases is desirable·Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, notably Excel (macros, pivot tables, lookups, filtering, etc.) & Access·Strong independent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
