Branch Sales Manager III

SUMMARY:
Manages all functions and has ultimate responsibility for achievement of sales goals, operational activities and staff of a branch. Develop new outside business. Oversee and ensure sales of new and existing business inside the branch and promote new sales generation outside the branch. Ensure quality levels of branch customer service. Ensure development and training of branch staff. Promote positive bank image within the community. Oversee administration of all personnel issues. Ensure the protection of all branch assets. Operate branch within budget.REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES:
• Accountable for maximizing branch revenues, sales, customer satisfaction, and minimizing operating losses
. Has a personal sales goal.
• Responsible for Small Business Loans up to $100,000.
• Focus on sales activities both inside and outside of the branch. Maintain and develop relationships
with existing small business customers. Conduct cold calls on prospective small business
customers.
• Deploy resources to optimize individual and team performance.
• Responsible for branch compliance with bank policies, procedures, and operational integrity.
• Prioritize, manage, and communicate promotional campaigns and product initiatives.
• Ensure quality levels of branch customer service.
• Ensure adherence to all compliance and audit requirements.
• Develop and manage to branch business plan. Operate branch within budget.
• Represent bank in local community organizations.
• Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs,
assigning work, meeting completion dates and sales goals, interpreting and ensuring consistent
application of organizational policies.
• Develop programs and reward systems to increase morale, develop employees, etc. in order to
assist in reducing turnover.
• Monitor employee activities, assist with problems, and take action when necessary to ensure work
quality standards and planned schedules are maintained.
• Perform general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance
appraisals, promotions and terminations.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to subordinate group. Responsible for training and
development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion
dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.KEY DIFFERENCES:
• As a guideline, between a total of $20 Ώ $75 Million in Loans plus Deposits.
• In some scenarios, provide a commitment to increase loans and deposits up to $30 Million in 3 years
or less.
• Is considered an experienced Branch Sales Manager professional who has consistently achieved
sales and operational objectives.
• Proven success in employee productivity and in reducing turnover.
• Overall responsible for sales activities and branch operations. Responsible for achieving sales
goals set for branch.
• Has a greater revenue sales goal than a Branch Sales Manager II.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 5-7 years relevant branch operations and/or branch sales experience. Branch Sales Manager or
related manager experience a plus.
• Trained in and applies effective sales techniques. Proven sales and negotiations experience.
Understands sales management processes.
• Experience in penetrating the market and growing market share.
• Thoroughly knowledgeable on platform and teller operations.
• Thoroughly knowledgeable on banksΏ products and delivery channels.
• Possesses excellent negotiation and sales skills.
• Effective customer and public relation skills.
• Good platform presentation skills with strong business acumen.
• Effective leadership, management, coaching, presentation and training skills.
• Effective problem solving and program management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Skilled in applicable computer software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Knowledgeable on the Internet / Intranet in order to obtain resource material and execute work duties.
