Branch Manager - Wilmington, NC

The company provides education financing for the kindergarten through high school, professional, and technical training, part time education and distance learning.

In addition, We provide mortgage and consumer loans in most states. Responsibilities We are looking for a motivated Branch Manager who is involved in the communities in which they live and work to expand the Sallie Mae retail branch network.


This position will be responsible for the development of new business by establishing relationships with realtors for real estate loans, retail dealers for sales finance business, managing the portfolio, controlling delinquency, ensuring staff follow company guidelines as well as maintain compliance with state and federal laws, controlling operating and capital expenditure costs, organizing Accounts Payable, cash drawer, and accounting operations and manage personnel by hiring and training a qualified staff, set goals, and motivate staff to achieve goals.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years management experience in consumer lending/mortgage industry 3+ years of successful mortgage loan growth Ability to select, develop, and motivate staff Ability to maintain accurate financial records Strong communication skills
