Branch Manager / Operations Manager

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Effective Sales Management to include the proper budgeting of new sales goals; ensuring that new sales goals are met or exceeded; identifying and developing effective sales strategies for potential new clients; accurately and effectively pricing and estimating jobs.
• Developing long term relationships with clients by communicating on a regular and timely basis regarding client properties.
• The inspection of properties on a regular basis to monitor Superintendents’ performance
and review overall job quality.
• Ensuring an annual renewal rate of 95% or better with existing accounts.
• Developing annual budgets on a timely basis and working with Controller(s) to track branch performance to budget and adjust accordingly as needed.
• Effective finance management to include overseeing the timely and accurate processing of branch billing; monitoring the effective collection of accounts receivable and ensuring the proper execution of all contracts.
• Handling all branch facility requirements including leases,
computer systems, phones, taxes, etc.
• The proper use and care of all branch assets, as well as purchases and branch equipment/asset manual.
• Effective HR Management to include the selection and development of branch team members; processing of proper personnel documentation; employee communications and discipline/review processes on an on-going basis; training and developing employees for future growth.
• Monitoring branch safety records and implementing methods to improve
safe workplace practices.
• Overseeing, monitoring, and providing guidance in the training provided to Crew Leaders and Crew Members by Superintendents.
• The implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures issued by senior and corporate management.


JOB REQUIREMENTSOur ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 5 years management experience in a horticulture commercial landscape or high volume production environment
• Proven experience in cultivating and maintaining positive client relationships
• Previous sales experience; and knowledge of branch operational processes including Profit & Loss statements, gross margins and equipment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are a must.
